Damas is situated at the foot of the majestic Brandwacht Mountains amongst the picturesque Brandwacht Valley vineyards. Centrally located in the Breede River winelands, guests can explore the beauty of the largest wine-producing district in Southern Africa. Damas is 5 minutes' drive from Worcester and just more than an hour's drive from Cape Town. |
Damas was established in 1996 and has grown from the original 70-seater restaurant to a multi-functional, family-run business concern comprising a restaurant with three different venues, each with its own special ambience and a tea/wine garden.
We offer warm hospitality, first-class service and excellent cuisine.
The tranquil surroundings and personal attention from the owners make each visit to Damas a wonderful experience.

EVENT VENUES
Damas: Originally a sunken farm dam, this venue has been masterly transformed and is suitable for more formal functions and conferences for up to 90 guests.
Ficus 1: Partially built around a gigantic Ficus tree, this venue is perfect for smaller private functions for up to 25 guests. It has direct access to an enclosed garden area.
Ficus 2: Suitable for up to 100 guests, this venue is built in the shade of the Ficus tree. Big folding doors connect to a covered area.
Enclosed garden: Connected to the Ficus 1 and 2 venues, this area can host up to 140 guests
The Terrace: An informal private area partially covered by a pergola with its own bar area which is suitable for barbeque functions.

Damas Guesthouse offers stylish three-star accommodation with seven en-suite units and two family units in a safe environment. All units have a view of the mountains from private patios that lead into the garden. Secure parking is close to the units. An A lá carte breakfast is served in the Ficus Restaurant on the premises.
Each guest unit is private and individually decorated and equipped with TV, coffee and tea-making facility, heater, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. Luxury units have bar fridges and honesty bars. All rooms are wireless LAN accessible.
Relax with a sundowner on the patio and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains before preparing for an evening of sumptuous wining and dining at the award winning Damas Restaurant.
