GENERAL INFORMATION: WEDDINGS
Weddings are special occasions and need special arrangements. For this reason weddings are also very special to the staff members of DAMAS.
VENUES
Maximum number of guests :
- Damas - 90
- Ficus 1 and 2 and enclosed area - 140
The maximum number of guests will depend on whether there will be dancing at the reception.
CEREMONY
Depending on the weather the ceremony can take place:
- on the auditorium-style staircase
- under a giant Ficus tree
- in Damas
- on the rolling lawns.
RECEPTION
Quotations are given for the number of guests and may vary according to the venue
Quotations include:
- Use of the venue, tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery
- White tablecloths
- Setting and laying of tables
- Preparation and display of dishes
- Cleaning of cutlery, crockery and venue.
Venue hire
- Venue hire is levied depending on number of guests and venues used
- If more than one venue is used, additional venue hire will be levied
- Damas will be closed to the public for groups of more than 80 guests
MENUS
Wide variety of menus
- Three- to five-course set or buffet menus.
- Buffet-style or three-course breakfasts.
FLOWERS AND DECORATIONS
Own florist can be arranged or the names of florists in the Worcester area can be supplied
OTHER SERVICES
- Should a bride accept our quotation a list of specialists for the required services can be supplied.
BAR FACILITIES
Fully Lisenced
- Our extensive wine list includes award-winning wines from the Worcester area as well as a variety of beers, ciders and spirits.
- Own wine can be brought and corkage will be charged. No other liquor is allowed on the premises.
- Own wines must be delivered at least 6 hours before the function to be cooled.
